Travel Influencer • Documentary Filmmaker • Cultural & Tourism Advocate
Darwin M. Bequillo, known as “Byahe ni Dar,” is a travel influencer, documentary filmmaker, and storyteller dedicated to showcasing the people, places, culture, heritage, and livelihoods of Oriental Mindoro.
Through his documentary-style storytelling and digital platforms, Dar brings attention to the province’s lesser-known destinations and the communities behind them. His work goes beyond tourism—telling stories of farmers, artisans, indigenous communities, local entrepreneurs, and ordinary people whose lives and traditions form an important part of Mindoro’s identity.
With a growing digital community of 139,000+ followers, Dar uses his platform to connect audiences with the authentic stories and experiences of Oriental Mindoro. His work has been recognized by the Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro and the Municipality of Pola, as well as through awards for his contribution to tourism promotion and documentary storytelling.
